Robert Scott is a Senior Manager and member of TL2Q’s Voluntary Disclosure Administration Group with over 25 years of unclaimed property experience, having most recently served as the Administrator in charge of The State of Arkansas’s unclaimed property program. In that role, Mr. Scott worked extensively with holders, other state administrators, third-party audit firms, and holder advocates in connection with Arkansas’s unclaimed property reporting, audit and voluntary disclosure initiatives.
As the Administrator of Arkansas’s unclaimed property program, Mr. Scott was instrumental in developing and managing the State’s voluntary disclosure program, and he had direct and final oversight over all aspects of the voluntary disclosure process. In addition, during his tenure and through his efforts, Arkansas unclaimed property reporting and claims processing increased dramatically, the Office was converted from paper to digital recordkeeping, and both the NAUPA I and NAUPA II protocols were successfully integrated into State systems.
Mr. Scott brings valuable unclaimed property industry experience related to mineral interests, transfer agents, banks, mutual funds, insurance, money order, retail, education and schools, food processing, and trucking among others.
